About Finotop

What is Finotop?

Finotop is a personal financial organization, tracking and reminder platform. It gives you one place to record your bank accounts, credit cards, loans, insurance policies and investments, keep important financial documents organized, get reminders before payments are due and see your net worth on one dashboard. It is built for people in India who manage money across many banks, apps and platforms.

Is Finotop free?

Yes, you can start on the Free plan at ₹0, which includes a basic dashboard, basic reminders and a limited number of financial items. Finotop Plus costs ₹99 per month or ₹999 per year and adds unlimited items, WhatsApp reminders, advanced reminders, the document vault, the AI assistant and the full net-worth dashboard. No credit card is required to start.

Do I need to install an app?

No. Finotop runs in your web browser, so you can use it on your phone, tablet or computer. Create an account to get started.

Is Finotop an investment advisory service?

No. Finotop is an organization, tracking and reminder tool. It does not recommend investments, provide financial advice or manage money on your behalf. The AI assistant summarizes and calculates information you have stored in Finotop. For advice about your situation, speak to a qualified, registered professional.

Can families use Finotop?

Yes. Many households use one place to keep track of the policies, loans, deposits, investments and bill due dates they are responsible for. You decide what to record and can name each account so it's clear which family member it belongs to.

Can NRIs use Finotop?

Yes. Finotop is useful for NRIs managing NRE and NRO accounts, Indian investments, insurance policies and loans from abroad. Each account can be recorded in the currency it is held in, and reminders help you stay on top of Indian due dates wherever you live.

Data, security and bank connections

Does Finotop need my internet banking password?

No. Finotop never asks for your internet banking password, card PIN, CVV or OTPs. You only need your Finotop login. If anyone claiming to be from Finotop asks for these details, do not share them.

Does Finotop connect to my bank?

Not automatically. In the current version you add your accounts, balances, investments and due dates yourself and update them whenever you like. That keeps you in control of what Finotop knows, and it means Finotop works with any bank, card issuer, insurer or investment platform you use.

Is my data secure?

Protecting your information is central to how Finotop is built. Access requires secure sign-in, data is encrypted in transit and at rest on secure cloud infrastructure, your records are only available through your own account, and documents are stored privately with controlled access. Finotop also never needs your internet banking password.

Can I edit or delete my information?

Yes. You can update or delete the accounts, reminders and documents you have added at any time.

Tracking investments and net worth

Which banks and platforms can I track?

Any of them. Because you add information yourself, you can record accounts and holdings from any Indian or overseas bank, card issuer, insurer, broker, fund platform or employer provident fund.

Can I track mutual funds?

Yes. Add each fund or folio with its name, platform and current value, and Finotop includes it in your investment total and net worth. You update values yourself, for example from your fund platform or Consolidated Account Statement (CAS), rather than Finotop fetching them automatically.

Can I track stocks?

Yes. Record the stocks you hold across brokers along with their current value, so your equity holdings sit alongside your mutual funds, deposits and other assets. Finotop does not show live prices or connect to your broker; you update values when you choose.

Can I track PPF and NPS?

Yes. PPF, NPS and EPF are supported, along with fixed deposits, gold, property and other assets. Keeping long-term retirement savings visible next to your other investments gives a far more accurate picture of your net worth.

How does Finotop calculate net worth?

Net worth is your total assets minus your total liabilities. Finotop adds up the current values you have recorded for assets such as bank balances, mutual funds, stocks, fixed deposits, PPF, NPS, EPF, gold and property, then subtracts outstanding liabilities such as home loans, personal loans, car loans and credit card balances. Because the values come from your own entries, your net worth is as current as your latest update.

Reminders and documents

Can I track credit card due dates?

Yes. Add each credit card, set a reminder for its payment due date and Finotop reminds you before the payment is due. Monthly recurring reminders mean you don't have to re-create them every billing cycle.

Can Finotop send WhatsApp reminders?

Yes. With Finotop Plus you can choose to receive reminders on WhatsApp for credit card bills, EMIs, insurance premiums, SIPs, FD maturities, subscription renewals and your own custom financial dates. Reminders are also shown inside your Finotop account.

Can I store financial documents?

Yes. The document vault, included with Finotop Plus, lets you upload documents such as insurance policies, bank statements, property papers, tax documents and investment statements, organize them by category and link them to the related account. Documents stay private to your account.
